wisdom weavers of the world

Early in 2020 - when most of us were still more worried about lock down restrictions than the reason we had it - these group of elders came together and gave us a collective message of hope.

On the last few days of 2020 this video is a great reminder that we are all interwoven within and around each others lives.

Over ten thousand years ago, Elders at that time knew that a great imbalance was coming, so the original instructions of how to live in harmony as one Earth family were partially hidden by a wave of forgetting to keep them safe.

Each group of people had enough wisdom to survive and continue on, but no one people had all of the knowledge once available to them. It takes all of us to join together - connect and collaborate in our communities and lives.

Challenging as the year has been, we have much to rejoice over and be grateful for. May 2021 be a year of insightful change and inspired reflection.

Happy New Year to us all!

vessels of consciousness

All along the eastern seaboard we just had our first major snow storm of the season. Although it's bright and sunny today, it still has not stopped snowing and the sixteen inches of snow is barely melted.

Let's not forget that it's still officially fall and not yet winter, making this sting even more. This first snow is magical and magnificent, even as we shovel white fluff off our sidewalks and driveways into high mounds at inconvenient corners.

Nature in all her glory, her pristine and crystalline brilliance blinding in today's bright sunshine, lords it over all.

Sahasrara, crown chakra

Just like much of 2020, we're not sure how to do this, how long it will take, or what lies beyond this change. For those who have the realization, all we know is we can no longer stay where we were. It feels that the amount of people who are hearing their soul calling has occurred at a much higher number in this pandemic.

December 2020 message

This message is from Sandra Ingerman and Isis - posted on Sandra's website, December Transmutation News 2020.

I felt that the message Isis shared was a powerful one, and I wanted to share it with all of you in case it speaks to you and touches you on some level. I am sharing only the core of her message:

“There are an abundance of planets and dimensions where spirits incarnate to learn and evolve.

Steiner veil painting

Here on Earth you were born to experience love, light, and joy, but the lesson was to first experience suffering and then to be able to reach beyond that dimension where inside of you (not outside of you) there is an inner sense of love and joy. Actually, joy is not the correct vibration for in reality it is bliss that your spirit feels.

In your world, teachers, including your own, encourage you to open your heart to the spirit of love.

advent season

Many of us are looking forward to the end of this challenging year of horror. Even with the virus still raging out of control we find ourselves more hopeful with the advent of the holidays.

This time last year few of us were aware or alerted to the news of COVID-19. None of us ever foresaw how far and deep the devastation would affect us all around the world. Yet as our world crumbled around us many resorted to more inspired ways of being.

homey Advent candles

Much as we love the holidays, Christmas tends to lose its magic and charm as we grow older. Participating in Advent may bring back that awe and wonder our younger selves enjoyed so well.

The rituals and traditions associated with Advent are both ancient and fluid. Churches have observed Advent for centuries, but each congregation and individual may participate in different ways.

Many light candles each Sunday, telling a different part of the Christmas story leading up to Christ’s birth.

Isaiah 9:2

Advent is a gift. A time to behold the wonders of this expectant time of year. Embracing the themes of hope, joy and preparation we feel God more tangibly in his message of love and salvation and the birth of Christ.

Advent invites us to slow down and enjoy the hope and miracle that each day of life brings us. Instead of overeating, traveling, stockpiling — we fill our deepest interior with a holy presence.

We reset our internal watch to God’s time. We listen to the divine within instead of the constant barrage of buy, buy, buy.

Hope springs eternal in us

Honoring this time reminds us of the lessons in waiting, the joy in anticipation, the pricelessness of hope.

subject | object | symbol

Science and spirituality can be quite surreal when dealing with reality as revealed by quantum physics and the Buddha's teachings on Oneness. We truly are each co-creator with and in the universe.

Print by Philipp Igumnov

Never have we been more polarized in any and all aspects of our lives, stretching bounds to breaking point. In a continuous feedback loop of infinite creativity the dreamer is the dream and witnessing the dream changes it.

The revelation of the dream state is the true nature of humanity - as connected and collective. The hardest of hard sciences shows us we can dream up the highest possibility if we set our minds to it - literally and figuratively.

Being unaware creates trance states that cause disassociation and leads to collective madness. Just witness our current state of divisiveness across the world - what other proof do we need?

As conscious awareness influences how the dream manifests. We can actually dream ourselves awake.

We all have our own individual inner guidance that is always here with and for us.

We do have to learn to listen before we can energetically express inner into outer manifestation.

We have whatever it takes to heal ourselves. Do we want this enough to achieve it?

11.11.2020 & its significance

What does 1111 mean?

Cosmic trigger. Auspicious sign. Awareness booster. Awakening alarm. Ascension gateway.

Change is happening all around us and our involvement in shaping this change towards a better outcome which is of critical concern.

When your attention is repeatedly nudged by recurring numbers and patterns, what strikes you?

Is it chance or coincidence? Or do you believe in its alignment and synchronicity?

open portal

More important than chasing after what 1111 means pay attention instead to what is happening in your life as you notice 1111 or other repeating patterns. According to those who have had this experience for decades you may be guided, assisted, triggered or reminded in the moment for a specific reason or particular purpose.

Uri Geller has expounded some controversial belifs regarding this.

I believe that people who have constant contact with the 1111 phenomena have some type of a positive mission to accomplish. It is still a mystery to me what it is that we all have to do or why are we all being gathered and connected together, but it is very real and tangible.

I feel that it is immensely positive, almost like there is a thinking entity sending us these physical and visual signs from the universe. In me, it activates the power of prayer, love and determination to somehow help the world. Someday I suspect we will find out the true meaning behind this puzzling phenomenon.

In shamanism the belief is when heart and life force are aligned and united as one, then anything is possible as we step into the realm of dreams and miracles.

Shamans around the world are calling out to wake up from this current collective [non]consciousness we are all living with, and dream a new world into being.

Watch out for the next big day - 1212.

breathe in, breathe out

Our breath is so valuable and intrinsic a part of our life force and yet how many of us can honestly say we breathe at our optimum best?

Do you take round full breaths or are you a shallow breather. Under stress or duress, does your breath remain deep and steady, or do you find yourself hyperventilating?

Watch this animation of how our lungs look and work to get a better idea of how they serve us.

Single Cell Animation of the Respiratory System

Did you know that our lungs are different from one another? The right consists of three lobes - Superior, Middle, and Inferior. While the left only has two lobes - the Superior and Inferior.

Lungs are encased by the Pleura - a membrane surface that lubricates the lungs movement as we breath.

The Diaphragm is the muscle that helps pump air into and out of the lungs. As it contracts (moves down), the air is sucked in, as it relaxes (just as bellows work), the air is pushed out.

The respiratory system is such an amazing wonder. It is good to remember this to appreciate and care about ourselves more.

what our dreams portend

Since attending the Dark Night of the Soul course given by Sandra Ingerman recently, I noticed the gap between my asking for something and it manifesting has shortened and compressed, yielding almost immediate results.

It has resulted in some changes in fine tuning my healing practice and disciplines. For example, I grew up a believer in the power of prayer. The powerful act still moves me deeply, yet I now prefer to light a candle and wordlessly offer it up on the altar with whatever intentions I hold.

Dreamwork Summit 2020, The Shift Network

The simplest offering of love and light is enough to yield immediate and miraculous outcomes. Best yet, when I am confused or at a loss, I allow grace to move through me and ease any stress or fear. The act of absolute surrender frees and liberates me completely.

a manual for peace | within & in our world

Thich Nhat Hanh distills the essence of Buddhist thought and practice with the grace and serenity he is world famous for.

Since the 60s, when we were first introduced to his words and work through his efforts to end the Vietnam War, he has emphasized the power of mindfulness to transform our lives.

His book, You Are Here: Discovering the Magic of the Present Moment, delivers his wise words simply and directly. Providing us with an easy and doable manual for day-to-day living.

available online

Simple, warm, direct, and startlingly potent, this book reveals the heart of the Buddhist path and helps us to reconnect with the joy and wonder of being alive, regardless of life’s changing circumstances.

In, out. It is enough to breathe.

Deep, slow. Simply witness your breath.

Calm, ease. Let go and relax - no thoughts, no plans, no agenda.

Smile, release. Connect to our self, here and now, body and mind, all and whole.

We are here, completely alive. That is the magic and miracle of life.

Feeling frazzled? Easily triggered? More forgetful? Don't let this scare or worry you.

In truth our brain is evolving - working out new pathways of consciousness - it is being rewired. While the old ways are being abandoned - the new ways are still being discovered or formed - we feel the gap and lack more.

communing with spirit

Altars have always held a special fascination - it may be a childhood holdover from our tradition of visiting churches, especially when we are in a new place, genuflecting in front of a new altar and offering up some special intention.

Bacolod City Basilica, interior

Sacred sites and shrines can be so varied and different - serving an individual person, family or community. Both ancient and ageless - its purpose long lost through the eons. Whether a man made structure, a sacred space in nature, or a natural gathering place - they kindle our interest and can be quite awe inspiring.

Façade of Miagao Fortress Church, Iloilo

When and where it is possible - listening to the stories that go with the why of how a shrine was erected or a space set aside for a sacred purpose, quiet contemplation, a physical reminder to pause and take life in - maybe even make an offering in return to express gratitude and appreciation.

ceremony

Ceremony is a conscious act performed, uniting in ritual and purpose, the specialness of an event or occasion. Cultural or traditional, religious or civil, communal or private - a ceremony is a creative, powerful, and impactful means of communication and connectivity.

Canterbury Cathedral Altar

Adding ceremony to our daily prayer is valuable because it consciously directs our purpose and intent. Prayers are universal and every individual prays one way or another. Prayer is deliberate communication issued or action taken to connect with spirit, the divine, all that is, source, the God of our heart.

hope is a discipline

Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on September 21. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire.

The 2020 theme for the International Day of Peace is Shaping Peace Together. Celebrate the day by spreading compassion, kindness and hope in the face of the pandemic.

While many join together to spread peace, there are those who sow divisiveness and dissent, using the current crisis to promote their agenda of discrimination and hatred.

It is a sad and sorrow filled day for Filipinos around the world who recall the atrocities of the Marcos regime and dictatorship on the anniversary of the declaration of martial law in the Philippines.

It’s an act of rebellion to show up as someone trying to be whole and — I would add — as someone who believes that there is a hidden wholeness beneath the very evident brokenness of our world. ~ Parker Palmer

let our spirit soar

The past decade has liberated me - bringing final closure to a cycle that took longer than I ever imagined and invested more energy than expected.

Sand Dunes and Moon by Regimantas Cieška

This last year of accumulation, of accreditation, and of study has served me well. It has fattened and filled my spirit. A fat moon full and filled with new understanding and a deepened consciousness. So big it bursts open to spill over. Rich with magic and resources, with offerings and boons - for all to witness and enjoy.

welcome to my world

August is the ideal month to bask under the night sky and dance with the stars. Meteor showers, comet trails, lunar phases, planetary alignments, asteroids and their near misses. The skies are putting on a stellar show.

The August full moon has been called the Sturgeon Moon, Red Moon, Green Corn Moon, and Grain Moon. It is a harvest moon that appears at the time of the year's first harvest, always shining by the stars of Aquarius or Capricorn. This year the full moon falls on August 3.

rest easy

Have you heard of Trisha Hersey - self proclaimed nap bishop, founder of the Nap Ministry and advocator of radical rest as resistance? Either way, it's time for all of us to join her global movement and nap temple where we can rest in righteous sleep.

Who can fail to love the idea of rest as resistance? Especially in this world where life is such a grind our wheels fail to stop even face with this deadly worldwide pandemic?

In her latest course, Dark Night of the Soul, Sandra Ingerman instructs us in creating a personal altar that changes as we go through changes as well. My altar for the week sits on an old hand embroidered Bedouin tribal cover.

In dreamtime I join its travels up and down the old Silk Road from ancient lowlands of our mother river deltas in Egypt to the distant aerial peaks of the Himalayas. Moving back and forth between East and West, trading knowledge, histories, art and other treasures.

ancient & ageless

In the early 70s I was a rebellious teenager in an all girls Catholic school run by German Benedictine nuns. Lucky for me a young nun came to be our high school principal and she was more open to having us express our new found angst in more productive ways.

We had much to vent as it was not just the birth of flower power and the all too controversial contraceptive pill, it was also the coming of age of the infamous Philippine dictator, Ferdinand Marcos. But that is a long and sordid tale I shall save for the more appropriate telling in my Change Warrior blog instead.

Jesus & Horus

Back then I thought being a hippie chick was the coolest thing. I loved beading my own headbands, wristbands and chokers. Embellishing and embroidering my clothes with thread, leather, cords and fringes would just put me in my creative zone.

#endHUMANtrafficking

What in the world are we to do when stuff like this is still going on in our world? Wake up humans!

As if our caregivers and first responders did not have enough challenges in this time of COVID-19. Life in the time of corona is an on going, full speed, ran away emotional roller coaster.

When the rich and infamous like Prince Andrew, Donald Trump and Bill Clinton are involved -including lawyers William Barr and Kenneth Stark - we truly have to question, what the f*ck? ! ?

Can there be any reason for them to be at a party with dozens of underaged females hosted by a known sex trafficker? Flaunting their salivating feral mugs in well documented press photos? WOW!

This is the first couple of the United States - how sick is that?

We all need to do whatever it takes to end this. How to get involved:
  • Highlight the work of first responders in your country, community or organization.
  • Share, like and comment on the social media messages for the World Day.
  • Donate to the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Human Trafficking, which provides on-the-ground assistance and protection to victims of trafficking.

transmutation with Sandra Ingerman

intention + harmony + love + concentration + focus + union + imagination = transmutation

Sandra Ingerman offers this formula to recall our light and let it shine forth.

In Shamanism we are taught that everything is connected. Everything that is alive has a spirit and is connected in a web of life.

Begin to get in touch with your true nature which is light by putting on some relaxing soothing music and allow yourself to get into a quiet place.
  • Take some deep breaths bringing you to a centered place where you will be able to experience a state of harmony and love.
  • Allow yourself to go inside holding the intention that you want to experience the light that shines within your being.
  • This will bring you into a state of union with your creator or the power of the universe.
  • Keep your focus and concentrate on your intention.
  • Allow your imagination to help you feel and see your internal light.
  • Give yourself permission to let your light shine fully through you.
This light is always there and cannot be used up.  The capacity to share your light and be filled by it yourself is endless. Your light cannot be destroyed or taken from you. You do not have to worry about becoming depleted, as the source of this light is infinitely abundant.

Should you wish to continue this practice and share it Sandra has also been generous enough to share this incredible transfiguration ceremony.

May you be filled with light and love and radiate it in your daily life. Blessings always!

wisdom of the stars

It has been a cosmic roller coaster of a week - starting with the full moon and closing with my birthday and the NEOWISE comet peaking on July 12. Happy Birthday to me and what a special gift it is to have my very own stellar fireworks.

Newcomer Comet Neowise, North Wildwood NJ on July 8, 2020 by Chris Bakley

Formally named Comet C2020 F3 NEOWISE by NASA, the newly-discovered comet has been visible in the early hours before sunrise this July. And now it will also be visible in the night sky for the next ten days. Check out this Comet Watch site to track it in your area.

The event is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience - NASA estimates the comet takes about 6,800 years to complete its path around the sun. Starting this weekend it will be visible to viewers in the Northern Hemisphere in the evening just after sunset.

How wonderful to have this year's birthday marked by such a spectacular event. Seeded from the stars and lighting up the heavens to shine down on us. Glory be to me! to me! to me!

What a delight it is to have this perfectly timed happy event to mark my auspicious day when the heavens are most closely aligned to my original date of birth. Blessings and gratitude always.

2020 midyear boon

This July full moon has many different names across the world. It's called the Buck Moon, Thunder Moon, Hay Moon, Mead Moon and Ripe Corn Moon.

Buddhists, Hindus and Jains traditionally celebrate Guru Purnima as a day of grace and new possibilities dedicated to all spiritual and academic teachers.

Halfway through 2020 the world is still scrambling to salvage what we can of our toxic lives and poisoned planet. The pandemic, lack of clarity, corrupt politicians, failing economies, and bad government and management reflect clearly all that is broken in our systems and human behavior.

I know how it feels like to let go of everything that does not serve me and make room for the new.
I know how it feels like to fill my mind with loving, life-affirming visions and re-align
with my most optimum future to better serve all of humanity.
I know how it feels like to surround myself with people that are
inspiring, elevating, and know how to have fun and have my back.
I know how it feels like to experience infinite fulfillment and joy. ~ Rosan Cruz/Mataji

Extreme choice and radical change are forced on us now after years of refusing to solve many escalating and growing concerns. Left with little choice maybe we can now collaborate and build community as we are intended to do.

May light and love prevail in honor and compassion for all.

GLO-CAL | the inter-bonding of global & local

"In this quiet where the seismographs register half the usual vibrations and the skies are blue over Beijing, we are discovering the power of the glocal." ~ , Bearing Witness to Earth

The inherent power of Glo-Cal - global and local are not separate or mutually exclusive.

Network and world map of Japan : Stock Photo

Under quarantine, in isolation or sheltering in place human beings are reaching out across the globe to connect and build communities in ways we have not done in ages.

Due to state and county lock downs many have resorted to supporting local growers and businesses in a variety of creative ways.

Including planting their own edible gardens and re-growing food from usually discarded scraps. Recycling and repurposing what we have instead of trashing stuff all too easily.

Social media, smart phones and online platforms like Google, Skype and Zoom are all blowing up with our need to stay in touch however way we can with family, friends and coworkers.

We manage somehow to congregate in virtual reunions. In the wake of former filial get togethers we come together in alternative options for many life events. Weddings. Funerals. Births. Anniversaries. For lots of occasions and causes.

The crisis and confusion of these past months have brought many together in creative and interesting ways. We manage to cobble up fragmented and multifaceted webs of familiar or strange relations.

In virtual chat rooms all over the world we reach out in interconnectedness. As human beings faced with this deadly pathogen we are made more conscious of daily life choices.

As we gaze into each other, eye-to-eye, smile-to-smile across social distancing may we find a new sense of ourselves as a global humanity living on this incredible planet.

One Earth. One humanity. We are all in this together.

dismantling manifest destiny

This week's episode of The Shaman's Cave centered on the solstice - summer for us here in the northern hemisphere and winter in the south.

In a wind journey that wound us back to the previous solstice in September, we witnessed what seeds we planted then that are now growing in our gardens this summer.

Solar and Lunar Eclipses that are Coming Up, and How They Influence Us
June 5 penumbral lunar eclipse & Sagittarius full moon

To wake up each morning filled with such gratitude. Expressing heart felt and soul defining grateful appreciation. Washed in the grace of my own joy and happiness.

To keep my attention directed and focused here. However dismayed, disgruntled, disjointed the wobble of the world is.

To accept everything is alright. All is as it should be. In the rumble and rabble of pieces falling into place.

Reflection. Revelation. Revolution. As the world turns and we spin along.
