It's Women's History Month, Holy Week starts this week, and a killing spree has ended the lives of six Asian American women. What it is is an accumulation of abuse brought to a head. The world is watching how this latest hate crime plays out. Will justice be served? Will we rise up and call it unacceptable?

A personalized God can be a mere idol carved in our own image - a projection of our limited needs, fears, and desires. Instead of pulling us beyond our limitations, “he” can encourage us to remain complacently within them; “he” can make us cruel, callous, self-satisfied and partial as “he” seems to be. Instead of inspiring the compassion that should characterize all advanced religions, “he” can encourage us to judge, condemn, and marginalize.” ~

The Abrahamic God is the conception of God that remains a common feature of all Abrahamic religions - Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and the Baháʼí Faith. God is conceived of as one, eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, and the creator of the universe. God is always and only referred to as masculine - possessed of the properties of holiness, justice, omnibenevolence and omnipresence.
Proponents of Abrahamic faiths believe that God is also transcendent, meaning outside space and outside time and therefore not subject to anything within creation, but at the same time a personal God, involved, listening to prayer, and reacting to the actions of his creatures.
Weeks from the Charter for Compassion launch in 2009, Karen Armstrong looks at religion's role in the 21st century. Will its dogmas divide us? Or will it unite us in common good? She reviews the catalysts that can drive the world's faiths to rediscover the Golden Rule.
The Thunder, Perfect Mind is mysterious poem, discovered among the gnostic manuscripts at Nag Hammadi and narrated by a female divine revealer.
I am the first and the last. I am she who is honored and she who is scorned.
I am the whore and the holy woman. I am the wife and the virgin.
I am the bride and the bridegroom. I am she, the Lord.
~ THE THUNDER, PERFECT MIND 1:5-10
Believe that we all could be better served by a feminine rather than a masculine God and make it so.
